What does a roof inspection actually cover?
A proper roof inspection isn't a quick glance and a guess. A Roof MOT is structured: we check the areas most likely to fail, we take photos, and we give you a clear report.
What we typically check
- Covering condition: tiles/slates, ridge, verges, general wear.
- Water management: gutters, downpipes, valleys, overflow points.
- Structure indicators: signs of movement, sagging, damp, and internal clues.
- Detailing & terminations: flashing, chimneys, abutments, roof edges.
- Risk & access: safe access, height, and anything that affects maintenance planning.
What you receive
You'll get a written report with photos, a score out of 100, and clear next steps. If remedials are needed, we'll explain what matters now and what can wait.
Why it's worth doing
The goal is simple: catch issues early, plan maintenance, and avoid emergency pricing and stress.
